- Addict when Windows starts up</FONT></B>

- If this option is selected, when you boot up Windows you will notice a
- picture of an eyeball in the taskbar <FONT SIZE=-1>(usually located in
- the lower right corner of the screen)</FONT>. You can then access Addict
- by double-clicking or right-clicking the eyeball.</FONT></TD>

- <B><FONT FACE="Garamond"> ò Show advanced user options</FONT></B>
- <BR><FONT FACE="Garamond"> Select this to be able to
- see a <B>list of running programs</B> when <A HREF="NewTask.htm">creating
- a new task</A>. This is very useful, and even necessary to be able
- to turn off some full-screen applications (that don't have a title bar).
- However, since the list of running programs contains internal Windows processes
- which should not be terminated under any circumstances, novice users should
- exercise care or keep this option deselected.</FONT>

- <P><B><FONT FACE="Garamond"> ò Use password</FONT></B>
- <BR><FONT FACE="Garamond"> Pick this in order to be able
- to create tasks which can only be deleted by providing a password.

- <BR><FONT FACE="Garamond"> If you elect to use the password,
- Addict will require you to enter it whenever you attempt to do certain
- things, such as change options or delete password-only tasks. In
- addition, another option becomes available:</FONT>

- input the password in order to <B><A HREF="NewTask.htm">create new tasks</A></B>.</FONT>
